Personal Attention
Customer satisfaction, providing
exactly what our customers want with exceptional customer service, is the
foundation of our business. The Russell
Eppright Custom Home team
understands custom home building,
and we can translate your needs into a
design for just the home you are
dreaming about. Whatever your
specific circumstances, we will provide
attentive care to satisfy your needs and
continually work to exceed your
expectations.
To achieve these goals,
we have established a budget-based
design program that allows us to
develop a budget with your unique
specifications before creating your
design. We then design your home to
meet that budget. As a result, costly
budget overruns can be avoided.
Our
sophisticated in-house design team
designs virtually all of the homes for
our clients. However, we are also
happy to work with the architect of
your choosing. We constantly provide
feedback about costs to our clients in
order to keep things on track and
within budget. Each home is an
original creation and as different as the
personalities of our customers.
At the start of construction, the critical preconstruction meeting is scheduled with the construction manager assigned to supervise the daily scheduling and quality control of the home. Communication with the customer is foremost in creating an enjoyable home-building experience as well as the knowledge and skill of each construction manager. And Russell has developed a construction team of outstanding talent. A check of their extensive referral list of satisfied customers will confirm that you will be handled professionally throughout the construction process.
"I constantly stress that the customer is our business," Eppright noted. "That’s why we limit the number of homes each construction manager is responsible for, we take more time to create a successful relationship with our homeowners."
The challenge for Eppright is to expand his base of subcontractors while keeping the high standards of quality. New subcontractors are selected based on their reputation for quality workmanship. References are checked. It’s a balancing act of high quality workmanship and competitive pricing. "Probably the hardest part of growing is expanding our core group of subcontractors, especially in the current tight labor market conditions that exist in Austin. We’ll wait a week for a framer to avoid using someone we don’t know. That’s why we’re not the fastest builders in town. We don’t build homes in four months - we can’t do that and maintain the quality we expect and demand of ourselves.
